I would argue actually regulating your nervous system is more helpful but what we think and what is can be different.
Just because we find something to be the most helpful doesn’t mean it actually is.
So many of us are into biohacking but at what point does consciously changing your nervous system state become repression. If every time I feel anxious i jump in a cold bath am I really healing that anxiety, building resilience, or am I avoiding processing the underlying feeling.
